How does Openpay work?
Openpay offers simple payment plans for shoppers, allowing a purchase to be spread over numerous instalments and repaid on a fortnightly basis, interest free!
Is there a cost to use Openpay?
In Australia, there is no cost to use Openpay for short term plans. For plans with long terms, a small processing fee from $2.50 to $3.95 can apply. In New Zealand a processing fee applies to all payments made by card other than the deposit. In the case of Open Plus plans an establishment fee may also be applicable. Ask your participating merchant or the Openpay team for more details.
How are payments made?
Payments are taken automatically as scheduled from your nominated credit or debit Visa or MasterCard unless you elect to make a payment by cash, cheque or money order to our offices.
Are there late fees?
If payments have not been made by their scheduled date, late fees will apply. Openpay sends out welcome emails on all purchases and payment reminder notices. Late fees are detailed in advance in this email correspondence. We understand that there are times when making a payment is just all too hard. Please contact us before the payment due date to reschedule and avoid late fees.
Can I make early payments?
Yes, early payments can be made. The processing fee will still be applied to each instalment and is not waived for an early payment or for paying off the plan.View the full policy
